Sunsets are some of my favourite things to paint, their fleeting ever-changing beauty makes me want to grab a brush and just start painting.   This was done for the first show I was involved with.  It was a unique experience, we put on a one night event featuring a variety of very different artists.  We had a singer, fashion show, live painting (me), poetry reading. We were also supposed to have a group of dancers but they bailed at the last minute leaving us in the lurch.  I can sing so they asked me to do a song for them.  I was so nervous I was shaking.  Good thing they had turned the lights off!  I sang into complete blackness.  Then I had to do a complete painting in an hour and a half of one of the models wearing one of the dresses that had been made for the event.  It was so much fun and the gentleman behind it all was such lovely person to work with.
