Monkey Head Nebula
Monkey Head Nebula was a true work of passion for me. It took me 11 months to create! It is also the biggest piece I have ever done to date, 5 feet by 4 feet! One of my favourite things to do is work large with tons of detail. Whenever I got a chance I was in the studio, working on this painting. I wanted this piece to make you feel immersed in the image as if you are in outer space and if you look out your window BAM! there you are. I want it to feel close and distant at the same time. I hope you enjoy it and I hope I succeeded even if you are only seeing it on your computer.
