Shelf Fungus

Shelf Fungus came about from a rainy hike in a dark forest.  It was so bright against the dark browns and greens surrounding it that it immediately gave me pause .  The cluster of bright orange shelf fungi was not very big either, the whole of it smaller than my hand.  The iridescent quality due to the wet weather made for an extremely challenging adventure in creating depth and vibrancy of colour.
